SO! October was a busy month. I went and got myself hitched! Which.. is not the weirdest thing I've ever done, but its pretty high on the list.

Troy, however, is a pretty awesome guy. We met on eHarmony after the pre-production stuff on the Eds movie was wrapped up. Our first date he brought me a rose.. which was almost overshadowed by the fact that he was dressed completely in white... White button up shirt, and off-white slacks. That left an impression on me for some reason, all though I can't say for certain what that impression was. I remember trying to decipher it the entire evening.

We watched Return of the Night of the Living Dead.. parts 1 and 2, book-ended with episodes of Teddy Ruxpin. His -hero- is Teddy Ruxpin... which says a lot about him. So does the tattoo on his midsection of a shield with a heart across it. He explained it to me on a few occasions, that it has to do with his anger toward men who abuse women... since he witnessed so much of that growing up. Its a black and white tattoo, which he won't have colored because the man who drew it has since died.

He drives a Samurai truck that's raised up on big wheels for driving off-road... Its a product of his "tinkering" nature. He programs computers. When our Wii was stolen from our house, his reaction wasn't to go out and buy a new Wii.. He somehow got the computer to run the Wii games and we're now able to even use the Wii remotes on the television in conjuction with the computer. He's the brightest man I've ever known... and yet socially awkward enough to be endearing and humble.

Our wedding wasn't elaborate. Just a handful of friends... and we did it on Halloween to honor our love of horror movies. He dressed as the Invisible Man, I dressed as Medusa. When I think about it, maybe a year of knowing each other isn't that long. But I don't know. The way we live, the way we are with eachother... I don't know. It feels different only when I REALLY stop to think about it. In a way its weirdly comforting.. to know that if anything bad ever happens between us that we'll have to deal with it as opposed to abandoning eachother. Which isn't as bad an idea as I used to think it was. I think I just.. witnessed many unhappy marriages growing up.

I guess I'm just saying this stuff to prove I have a life.. that I'm around.. somewhere. Because I don't post very often. I'm... Shy.
